The Ardencaple Playing Fields are the a home of sport in Helensburgh; hosting cricket, rugby, hockey and youth football tournaments and Highland Games. The clubhouse built in 1974 is the home of Helensburgh Cricket and Rugby Football Club: a not-for-profit Community Amateur Sports Club.
The Club has over 300 members and promotes participation in sport from micros, minis, age grade youth teams to adult first and second XV rugby and adult and junior cricket teams.
The Club has given thousands of young people the chance to enjoy and learn important life lessons through team sports. But investment in maintenance, repairs, and renewals alone, cost over £50,000 each year.
The Ardencaple Draw offers anyone who wishes to support the club including residents, players, former players, and family members the opportunity to win a monthly cash prize of up to £250 for a £5 monthly stake. All surpluses will go directly to fund sport in Helensburgh and you can indicate which sport section you wish to back: cricket, rugby, or both.
